DIY ETF research is scattered, shallow, and slow — and generic AI will happily make things up. Phenomen gives your assistant a disciplined, transparent process instead.

Why it's trustworthy

Every score is inspectable

Suitability is built from eight components; the technical score from six. You can see exactly why an ETF scored the way it did — no black box, no vibes.

FAQ

Questions, answered

What is MCP, and do I need to understand it?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard that lets your AI assistant talk to tools like Phenomen. You don't need to understand the plumbing — you paste one server URL into Claude or ChatGPT once, and from then on you just ask questions in plain language.
Is this giving me investment advice?
No. Phenomen is an analysis and education tool. It gives you data, transparent scores, and charts to inform your own decisions — it does not tell a specific person to buy or sell a specific security. Consult a licensed professional before making investment decisions.
Is it safe? Do I have to hand over brokerage logins?
No brokerage login, ever. Phenomen is read-only market analysis: no brokerage credentials, no order placement. Access is a standard account with a token you can revoke.
Which AI clients does it work with?
Claude (desktop and web) and ChatGPT, plus other MCP-compatible clients. Setup is a one-time paste of the server URL.
How are the scores calculated?
Every ETF gets two independent 0–100 scores each day: a suitability score from eight inspectable components and a technical score from six. You can see exactly which components drove a score — no black box. See the methodology page for the full breakdown.
Is it just another AI that makes things up?
The numbers don't come from the language model. Scores and charts are computed nightly from licensed market data (EODHD) stored in our own database. The AI is the interface; the analysis is deterministic and inspectable.
What does it cost, and can I try it?
There's a 14-day free trial — no credit card required. See pricing for plan details, and cancel any time.
Which ETFs are covered?
US-listed ETFs, organized into four universes (Core, Sector-Style, Thematic, Research-Only). You can also analyze any ticker on demand — including leveraged, inverse, and ETN structures — with clear risk explanations.
